What's next for Dragon Raja Global

Game Updates

First, Update 1.8.5 is coming real soon, hopefully within a week. The current version on the Test Server should be feature complete and just needs a little bit of debugging. Once it's stable, the Maintenance will be scheduled.

After that, we will begin work on the 1.8.6 update, which we hope will take less time to be released.

In the meantime, we will work on small updates that will make it directly to the Live, mainly balance updates that we have in preparation.

Then what's next?

Well, groundwork for the next big update, 1.9.0, has started. I don't have much information to share currently as it's still in the early works but it should be our biggest update to DRG so far.

Castle War Rewards

It has been two weeks since the War Memorial has been added and there's two weeks left before the end of the month. This means we will soon be communicating on what rewards the top of the leaderboards will get. We'll keep you posted.

Latency Issues

Many of you have reported to us about latency issues, mainly during busy moments like the Castle War.

I have investigated the issue and it looks like it's due to a faulty routing node in Singapore that is being used for traffic between Singapore and the rest of East Asia. Players from other regions, mainly Europe and North America, do not experience the issue at all and the node is absent from their network traces.

I will try to contact our Server host again to see if they can resolve the issue. I will also try to look for a new Hong Kong Gateway that avoids that faulty node.

Regarding the latency some Korean players are experiencing, it is likely not due to this faulty node as when I checked, the Korean Gateway was avoiding it. It is most likely due to the Korean Gateway being overloaded, which is something I will investigate asap.

Regarding both issues (the faulty node and the Korean Gateway overload), I will actively work on resolving them in the upcoming days and weeks, but I'm asking for your patience as these are not issues I can easily fix. I will keep you all updated on the progress.
